Upcoming Musicals: 'Guys and Dolls' and 'Godspell'
Choose between three local theatre productions.
Check out Maple Grove Senior High's award-winning theatre program with the fall musical production of the classic Guys and Dolls beginning Nov. 8.
More than 40 talented students will transport you from Runyonland to Havana and back again as Nathan Detroit, the organizer of the oldest permanent floating crap game, bets Sky Masterson that he can't make the next girl he sees fall in love with him- who just happens to be Miss Sarah Brown of the Save-a-Soul Mission.
Meanwhile, Nathan's girl of 14 years and the main attraction at the Hot Box nightclub - Miss Adelaide, desperately wants to get married. This story full of song and dance promises fun for the whole family.

Maple Grove Jr. High Presents: The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.
The musical is based on the book Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown and Illustrated by Jeff Nash. The show runs Nov. 7, 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now during lunch, after school and before each show.Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, everyday, run-of-the-mill ten-year-old; normal mom and dad, normal little brother, normal life. That's just the problem...for Stanley, life is too normal. He wants to travel the world, do something amazing, something no one's ever seen before.
