Vandals Put Burning Charcoal on Swing

Firefighters put out a fire at Weaver Lake Park.

Someone used burning charcoal to damage Weaver Lake Park play equipment last week, according to Maple Grove Fire Department reports.

Firefighters went to the park at 8:52 a.m. Saturday following a report of a fire. They found that someone had placed burning charcoal on a plastic swing seat.

Firefighters put out the fire after arriving.
