Maple Grove Will Be Home To Price Industries Research

The state Department of Employment and Economic Development provided a $700,000 grant for the $2 million facility in hopes the company will decide to also manufacture the products in Minnesota.

A new research center that makes heating, ventilation and air conditioning products will in Maple Grove. It is expected to open in April.

Price Industries senior vice president Bruce Dorey told Gov. Dayton at a press conference Thursday said the company will hire 40 employees with average pay of $80,000 of which he has already hired 10, most of them engineers and PhDs, according to the Pioneer Press.

Price Industries will be located at 6705 Wedgewood Court North, on the south end of Maple Grove, north of of County Road 10 and west of I-494, according to city officials.
