FREE Electronics Recycling Event in Maple Grove - 2 locations!

On Saturday, September 14, Boy Scout Troop 84 will partner with Tech Dump, an electronics recycling nonprofit, to collect unwanted electronics (gently used, obsolete, or damaged) from 9am-1pm at 2 locations in Maple Grove. The event will raise funds for the troop.

Bring computers, cell phones, electrical cords, internal/external drives, other misc. electronic accessories, TVs, and monitors ($10-donation requested for CRT TVs and monitors—non-flat panels). Tech Dump will destroy all information and data at their facility in Golden Valley.  Tech Dump is a Minnesota and Hennepin County licensed electronics recycler.  To find out more and for a list of accepted items, visit their website at techdump.org/troop-84w/.

The event will be held from 9am-1pm in 2 parking lots in Maple Grove. One is on the West side of Maple Grove in the Rainbow parking lot (16401 County Road 30 Maple Grove, MN 55311). The other is on the East side of Maple Grove in the Ethan Allen parking lot (11751 Fountains Way Maple Grove, MN 55369).

“The Tech Dump event will help fund new equipment purchases, summer camp events, and Philmont High Adventure Camp,” shared Scoutmaster Don Peterson.
