Maple Grove Skate Plaza Open for Skateboards, Scooters, Skaters and BMX Bikes

The newly designed outdoor park at the Maple Grove Community Center is open daily.

The new outdoor skate park at the Maple Grove Community Center opened in July after extensive work and design.

The Maple Grove Skate Plaza is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily to community members using skateboards, scooters, in-line skaters and BMX bikes. The park is made of concrete and includes features such as a mini taco, stairs, banks, grind rails, hubba ledges and manual pad.

Helmets and protective gear are encouraged.

"This park is unsupervised; therefore, users assume all risks inherent in the use of this facility," according to the City of Maple Grove website.
