Maple Grove Home Damaged in Saturday Morning Fire

The fire was reported around 8 a.m. Saturday, May 4.

Four of the Maple Grove Fire Department stations responded to a house fire on the 7600 block of Mariner Place North around 8 a.m. Saturday, May 4.  More than five people live in the home, according to Maple Grove Fire Chief Scott Anderson, who indicated there were no injuries reported. The fire had reportedly started in the basement and had spread to the upper floor by the time crews had arrived.  As of approximately 9:30 a.m., crews remained on the scene clearing remaining hot spots in the house. Fire Destroys Maple Grove Home Wednesday Evening

No one was injured in the fire on the 7700 block of Chesshire Lane North.

A Maple Grove home was destroyed Wednesday night after a fire swept through the residence on the 7700 block of Chesshire Lane around 7:15 p.m.  No one was injured in the fire, according to Maple Grove Fire Chief Scott Anderson, who said the home was a total loss.   Crews remained on the scene into the evening. The initial report was a notice of a fire alarm, which quickly turned into a second alarm house fire, according to Anderson.  Anderson said the "behavior" of the fire was "usual" which caused the fire to spread faster than expected, although there was nothing suspicious in nature. The cause of the fire is under investigation.  Four out of the five Maple Grove Fire stations responded along with North Memorial Ambulance and CenterPoint…

Photos: Multiple Fire Departments Respond to Corcoran Fire

The Maple Grove, Plymouth, Long Lake, Hamel, Loretto, Rogers, Hanover and Maple Plain Fire Departments assisted in putting out the fire.

Several area fire departments assisted with a building fire in nearby Corcoran Tuesday morning. Corcoran police received a report of a structure fire around 7:09 a.m. April 9 on the 20000 block of 75th Avenue North. All individuals were evacuated from the building, according to the Corcoran Police Department. The Rogers, Hanover, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Long Lake, Maple Plain, Hamel and Loretto Fire Departments responded to assist in extinguishing the fire, according to the Corcoran Police Department.
