From July 12-14, Maple Grove was filled with activities throughout the city during the annual Maple Grove Days, hosted by the Maple Grove Community Organization. Inside and out, the Maple Grove Community Center was full of activity on July 14 during Maple Grove Days.
Activities during Maple Grove Days 2012 at the Maple Grove Community Center included a Maple Grove Lions Corn Feed, Family Fun Inflatables, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Pie Shoppe, Coin Hunt, Kids' Fun Galore and Bicycle Stunt Show. The fifth annual Rotary "40 Winks" Bed Race on July 14 benefited the 40 Winks Foundation.
Local businesses and organizations took to Main Street July 14 for the annual "40 Winks" Bed Race during Maple Grove Days. Three new Maple Grove Ambassadors were named during the coronation July 13.
Courtney Aydt, Laura Fisher and Danielle Rudin were named the new 2012 Maple Grove Ambassadors during the coronation ceremony Friday, July 13 during Maple Grove Days. Here's a few details about new ambassadors provided by the Maple Grove Ambassador Scholarship program: Courtney Aydt Courtney recently graduated from Osseo Senior High and received the Star Student Award for student activities. She will be attending the University of Minnesota Duluth in the fall with aspirations to become a special education teacher. Laura Fisher Laura recently graduated from Maple Grove Senior High on the A Honor Roll. Laura will be studying pre-med at Iowa State University, with hopes of starting a career in health care or forensic science. Danielle Rudin …
