Don't forget the American Red Cross. As of today, there are still 78 volunteers working in the areaRead More (12 local). The mental health team will be volunteering for some time, and new volunteers are being dispatched daily. I know, since I was the Director of Emergency Services for 16 years before I retired. Was the same soup served all day? When we were there it was chicken noodle.

Thoroughly enjoyed the event again this year. The bowls are a great reminder to pray for those inRead More our area and around the world who don't have enough to eat, as well as to help fill their empty bowls. So many churches and organizations offer opportunities to help feed the hungry. They need food to give and hands to serve. I get at least one bowl each year to remind me to be as generous to others with my time, my food, and my money as God has been generous to me with His love and forgiveness.
