The seventh annual event generated funds for CROSS Food Shelf.

Community members gathered at the Maple Grove Community Center Tuesday the seventh annual Empty Bowls event – a fundraiser for CROSS Food Shelf.

The public was invited to have a meal of soup, bread and coffee and in return, make a donation to support CROSS Food Shelf.  Attendees were encouraged to choose an empty bowl in return for their donation as a reminder of those in the community who go home to empty bowls each day.

Osseo School District students, including those from Osseo Senior and Junior High, community members and many others, made the bowls.
