Three Rivers Park District Park Police Citizens Academy

Have you ever wondered what a park police officer does at Three Rivers Park District? Have you ever wanted to explore mounted patrol, island patrol, ski patrol or trail patrol? Did you know that Three Rivers Public Safety is the only law enforcement agency in the state that utilizes licensed peace officers, civilian park service officers and has its own civilian security team? How does a public safety unit enhance the mission and vision of Three Rivers Park District?

For the answers to these questions, consider attending the citizens academy. The group will meet 6-9 p.m. select Mondays, April 1—June 3, 2013 at French Regional Park in Plymouth.
