Northwest Metro Road Construction Report: June 8-10
Looking to avoid road construction on your way out of town? Here are several areas of road construction taking place in the northwest metro.
Here is a list of some of the projects, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and area cities, which might impact motorists traveling through the northwest metro for the weekend of June 8-10, 2012.

Road reconstruction is taking place between County Road 19 in Albertville and State Highway 241 near St. Michael with one lane closed.

Road construction is taking place in both directions on State Highway 55 between County Road 20 in Rockford and County Road 101 in Medina. According to MnDOT roadwork begins in Rockford and works east. Motorists are advised to expect “delays due to lane closures and full roadway closures as the project progresses. The construction is expected to continue into September.
Road reconstruction continues on Bass Lake Road in Maple Grove. The speed limit in the construction area has been reduced to 35 miles per hour.
