Golf League, Lesson Registration Opens March 5 in Three Rivers Parks

A variety of parks in the west metro offer golf opportunities for adults and children.

The Golf Academy at Three Rivers Park District will begin accepting lesson and league registrations March 5-8, 2013.

Web and phone-in lesson registration for lessons begin:

  • 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 5 for Glen Lake Golf & Practice Center
  • 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 6 for for Eagle Lake Youth Golf Center

The Golf Academy offers a full progression of golf lessons for adults and juniors. Group and private lessons are available for golfers of all skill levels — from those who have never golfed to those wishing to take their game to the next level. The Park District also offers a variety of clinics, camps and schools for adults and juniors.

Committed to providing youth golfing opportunities, the Park District offers numerous junior golf programs including The First Tee Lesson Leagues, LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, Hooked on Golf, The First Tee Golf & Sports Camp at Baker National, and “Go Camps.” Youth scholarships are available.

Golf lessons are offered at locations throughout the west metro area, including Baker National Golf Course (Medina), Eagle Lake Youth Golf Center (Plymouth), Glen Lake Golf & Practice Center (Minnetonka/Eden Prairie), and Cleary Lake Golf Course (near Prior Lake).

Children 8-17 years old can request a scholarship to participate in The First Tee of Three Rivers Park District. Learn more.
