Summer ended on a winning note for the Maple Grove Crimson VFW U16 Baseball Team with a state title at the 2013 Minnesota State VFW Baseball Tournament in Ely.
The team beat Hutchinson with a 8-3 win for the title in August. Maple Grove ended with a 36-5 season.
