Weaver Lake Elementary Staff Flash Mob

Staff at the Maple Grove school choreographed and did a flash mob dance for students before spring break.

If the excitement of an upcoming spring break wasn't enough at earlier this year, fifth and sixth grade students were treated to a "flash mob" by some of the school staff members.

About 30 teachers, support staff, and the principal performed a choreographed flash mob dance in the cafeteria during fifth and sixth grade lunch on March 23, the day before spring break. The group entertained to the KidzBop version of  Taio Cruz’ “Dynamite."

The flash mob plan and dance were choreographed by fifth grade teacher Alexis Strommen and English Learner teacher Andrea Wilson, who also produced a video for training purposes so staff could practice on their own if they couldn’t attend one of the before and after school practices.
