Upcoming kindergartners and their families visited Oak View Elementary in Maple Grove for the Osseo School District 279 Kindergarten Information Fair.
Upcoming kindergarten students and families looking to attend a school in the attended the Kindergarten Information Fair Nov. 12 at in Maple Grove.
During the event, families participated in a "treasure hunt" to learn more about the district's two magnet schools, Birch Grove Arts Magnet and Weaver Lake STEM Magnet, the day of a kindergartner, tuition-based and before and after school child care.
Clifford the Big Red Dog greeted the more than 600 people who attended the event at the District 279 school. Other activities during the fair included a book fair, school bus ride, face painting and fire truck visit.
