Osseo Senior High NHS Serves Homeless and Children

363 Days is an organization that provides sandwiches to people in the Twin Cities who would go hungry.

Osseo Senior High's National Honor Society decided that its January event would benefit this great group, so they ordered supplies to make one thousand sandwiches.

On Wednesday, Jan. 8, NHS members packaged 1,042 sandwiches for 363 Days. The sandwiches are being distributed throughout local homeless shelters and streets in the area. A representative from 363 Days said that he had never heard of a high school group putting together so much so quickly. 

NHS’s December event benefited children from neighboring communities. NHS members brought in small toys, stickers, candy and games to fill 50 stockings and distribute to children in need during the holidays.
