Osseo School Board Recognized During School Board Recognition Week

As part of School Board Recognition Week, members of the Osseo School District 279 School Board were thanked for their service.

District 279 School Board Members Dean Henke, Kim Green, Teresa Lunt, Jim Burgett, Laura Cottington and Tammie Epley were recognized and thanked for their work during their Feb. 21 regular meeting.

Superintendent Kate Maguire spoke to the School Board and community members, talking about the “importance of school board service” as part of School Board Recognition Week Feb. 20 through Feb 24.

“I would to thank you for your leadership, your commitment and your dedication in serving the students in District 279 and helping us achieve our mission,” Maguire said to the School Board Members.

As part of the recognition, each school board member received handmade mug and greeting cards made by District 279 students and funded through private donations.
