Osseo Senior High Artists Receive State Recognition

Two Osseo Senior High students were recognized by the Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards.

Two Osseo Senior High School art students, Staci Montanez and Sarah Todey, were awarded Gold Key recognition by the Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards. According to the MSAA website, Gold Key recognition went to five pieces that were voted as the Best in Show. Those pieces will continue on to the national competition, where one piece will be selected to represent Minnesota in the National Art Exhibition.

Areana Villagomez received a Silver Key award. Her art will be displayed as a digital image in the MSAA exhibition and the online Flickr Gallery.

Six additional students were given honorable mentions.
