Maple Grove Women of Today, Businesses Partner for Back to School Drive

Malone's Bar and Grill and Cub Foods Maple Grove to collect school supply drive donations for C.R.O.S.S. Food Shelf in partnership with Maple Grove Women of Today.

The Maple Grove Women of Today recently announced a partnership with and of Maple Grove to collect School Supplies for .  

Starting immediately, community members can drop off new school supplies at either Malone’s Bar and Grill or Cub Foods Maple Grove Donations will be accepted at Malone’s through July 30 and through Aug. 15 at Cub Foods.

School Supplies in need include: 8, 16 or 24 count Crayola crayons, markers, yellow highlighters, wide-rules spiral notebooks, white Elmer’s school glue, pocket folders, 12 count colored pencils, rulers, backpacks, wide line or college loose leaf paper, Fiskars youth scissors (4, 7 inch or adult), protractors, calculators (basic of TI 3011), watercolors (Prang or Crayola), Flair pens (black or red).

Malone’s Bar and Grill will also host two events for C.R.O.S.S. and the Maple Grove Women of Today. On July 28, there will be a Pancake Breakfast for C.R.O.S.S. from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (suggested donation $8 per person which includes beverage) and on Monday, July 30, the Maple Grove Women of Today will gathering for a Ladies Night Out Dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the final night for the School Supply Drive at Malone’s Bar and Grill. 

In 2011, C.R.O.S.S. provided school supplies to more than 700 children who otherwise might not have had any for school. C.R.O.S.S. Food Shelf serves Maple Grove, Osseo, west Champlin, Corcoran, Rogers, Dayton, and Hassan Township.
