District 279 Foundation Accepting Registrations for Reading is Fun 5K Run/Walk
The event is a fundraiser to benefit media centers in each of the Osseo Area Schools.
The third annual District 279 Foundation Reading is Fun 5K Run/Walk will be Saturday, Aug. 17 at Elm Creek Park Reserve in the Acorn Area.
The event is a fundraiser to benefit media centers in each of the Osseo Area Schools.

- 8 a.m. – registration
- 9 a.m. – 1K mascot race and family fun run/walk
- 9:30 a.m. – 5K competitive run and 5K walk
Registration is $15 for youth up to age 18 and $25 for adults. The 5K walk course is pet and stroller friendly.
Awards will be presented to the top three males and females in the following age groups: 12 and under; 13 to 18; 19 to 35; 36 to 49; and 50-plus.
