With road construction season well underway, roadway closures and delays will be occurring on occassion throughout Maple Grove, such as a ramp closure the overnight on Tuesday, May 24.
Road construction work on Interstate 94 between Maple Grove and Rogers brings a closure on the Interstate 494 ramp starting 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 24. It will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 25. According to Public Works Director Ken Ashfeld, the work is being done in the area to finish up pavement rehabilitation from last year.
The closure and detour will likely delay drivers from the northbound Interstate 494 to eastbound Interstate 94/Interstate 694 in Maple Grove, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The road will be a single lane starting at 7 p.m. before the full closure.
Drivers can take westbound Interstate 94 and Maple Grove Parkway to access eastbound Interstate 94 and Interstate 694 during the closure.
