Minnesota Caucus Information for Maple Grove Voters

The caucuses are set to take place on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

With the presidential election cycle just starting to heat up, caucus excitement is about to come to Maple Grove.

Senate District 32 DFL, Republican, Green and Independence party caucuses are set to take place Tuesday, Feb. 7. Attendees will cast a presidential preference ballot, elect precinct officers, discuss and vote on proposed resolutions for their party platforms and select delegates for senate district conventions.

Attendees must be eligible to vote in time for the 2012 general election, live in the precinct represented at regional meetings and be in general agreement with the principles of the political party with which they are caucusing. Most of the caucuses allow people who will not be 18 by Nov. 6 to attend the event and observe.
