Maple Grove Mayor to Testify in Washington DC

Mayor Mark Steffenson will testify on behalf of the North Metro Crossing Coalition for Highway 610 funding.

The Maple Grove City Council gave the green light for Mayor Mark Steffenson to travel to Washington DC to testify for Highway 610 funding.

Mayor Steffenson and Brooklyn Park Jeffrey Lunde will be visiting with the Minnesota Congressional Delegation to “promote funding for Highway 610,” according to a memo to the council 

“This continues to be a priority for both cities,” City Administrator Al Madsen said in the memo

Steffenson and Lunde will be testifying on behalf of the North Metro Crossing Coalition during their visit May 8 and May 9, which is funded by the 610 Crossing Coalition.
