I-494 Rehab Project Open House Nov. 19

The project includes reconstructing the pavement and several bridges, building noise barriers and incorporating a dynamic shoulder between Highway 55 and East Fish Lake Road.

MnDOT is planning a project involving seven miles of I-494, between I-394 and I-694. MnDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and the noise barrier voting process Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Plymouth City Hall.

The project includes reconstructing the roadway pavement and several bridges, building noise barriers and incorporating a dynamic shoulder between Highway 55 and East Fish Lake Road. Construction is scheduled to take place from June 2014 through November 2016.

 MnDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and the noise barrier voting process Tuesday, November 19, at Plymouth City Hall, Medicine Lake Room, 3400 Plymouth Road, Plymouth.

An informal open house is scheduled from 4–6 p.m., with a general project presentation and Q & A session from 6–6:30 p.m. A noise wall presentation and Q & A session is scheduled from 6:30–7 p.m.
