Highway 169/County Road 30 Interchange Construction Begins April 1

The project in nearby Brooklyn Park could impact Maple Grove travelers.

Information provided by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Construction on the new interchange at the Highway 169/County Road 30 intersection in Brooklyn Park is scheduled to begin Monday, April 1.

Work will include reconstructing County Road 30 (93rd Avenue North) to pass over Highway 169, eliminating the existing traffic signal there, constructing loop ramps in the northeast and northwest quadrants for access to and from Highway 169 to the south and providing bicycle and pedestrian trails along both sides of County Road 30.

This project will improve safety and will help alleviate congestion on Highway 169 while making Highway  169 a freeway between Shakopee and Champlin.
