The city of Maple Grove in cooperation with Hennepin County, received federal funds to improve Zachary Lane between Highway 610 and 101st Ave N., according to Maple Grove's website. The proposed improvements are focused on improving safety along the corridor by adding left and right turn lanes to Zachary Lane, a roundabout at 101st Ave and a trail along a portion of the east side of Zachary Lane.
There will be a public information open house 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19. Residents will be able to view the project layout, ask questions of city staff and project engineers, view videos and handouts about roundabouts.
