Construction has Begun for Second Goodwill Store in Maple Grove

An opening date has not yet been announced, but construction should be complete in January.

A new Goodwill store is being built near the intersection of Interstate 94 and Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove. The 20,600-square foot store will be Goodwill’s second in Maple Grove.

“Goodwill is expanding its footprint in the Twin Cities as the need for its services and offerings grows,” said Joe Ryan, president of Oppidan Investment Company. “We’re very pleased to partner with Goodwill yet again as it strives to expand in the Twin Cities market.”

According to Ryan, construction of the new Maple Grove Goodwill store is expected to wrap-up in January. Goodwill, which will lease the building from Oppidan, has not yet announced an opening date.

This is the fifth Goodwill retail store that Oppidan has developed in the past three years. Other locations include Champlin, Forest Lake, Minnetonka and Woodbury.
