Warrant Arrests, Medical Incidents: Hennepin County Sheriff’s Report

A public safety summary of service provided by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Patrol Unit the week Nov. 5-25, 2012 for area communities.

The following public safety summary of information from the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Patrol Unit that includes highlights from Nov. 5-25, 2012.

In addition to the law enforcement services it provides throughout the county, the HCSO provides primary patrol services for the communities of Hassan Township, Greenfield, Medicine Lake and Fort Snelling, as well as the Hennepin County portions of Hanover and Rockford. The report was provided by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. Not all incidents are included in the summary.

Corcoran
Nov. 19 - Deputies responded to an address in the 7500 block of County Road 116 for a medical. A 59-year-old male not breathing. North Paramedics and Hamel Fire were on scene tending to the male. Deputies cleared when male was loaded into ambulance for transport to North Memorial Hospital.

Dayton
Nov. 10 - Deputies responded to an address in the 14100 block of Pineview Lane to assist Dayton Police Department with a forced entry, burglary in progress. Champlin Police stopped the suspect vehicle at Dayton River Road and Saratoga Lane. Suspect was arrested, booked into the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility and held. A Hennepin County Sheriff’s Detective is investigating the incident and will forward on for formal charging.

Nov. 19 - Deputies responded to an address on Auburn Drive for a 60-year-old female who was found deceased. Dayton Police Department arrived and took over the investigation. Deputy cleared.

Nov. 22 - Deputies responded to an address in the 14000 block of Oakview Lane N. to assist Dayton Police Department with arrest of a 30-year-old male on a felony narcotics warrant. Male was arrested, booked into the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility and held on the warrant.

Hanover
Nov. 22 -  Deputies responded to an address in the 10700 block of Settlers Lane for a report of male with a possible medical issue.

Rogers
Nov. 5 - Deputies responded to an address in the 13400 block of Rogers Drive to assist Wright County with a transport of a male arrested on a Hennepin County warrant. The male was transported and booked into the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility for the warrants and held on bail.

Rockford

Nov. 6 - Deputies responded to a business in the 8000 block of County Road 50 for a dispute over a van. The male caller was there to pick up a van and now the person who had it at this time would not give it back. It was determined by the deputy it was a civil matter and advised all parties on how to proceed.  

Nov. 11 - Deputies stopped a 49-year-old female in the 8100 block of Bridge Street for traffic offenses. A female was arrested, booked into the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility and held on bail for driving while intoxicated. A copy of the report was sent to the city attorney for information.

Nov. 21 - Deputies responded to an address in the 8000 block of Highway 55 for a medical.  A 58-year-old male was suffering from a medical condition.  North ambulance arrived and transported the male to Buffalo Hospital.  

Nov. 23 - Deputies responded to an address in the 9000 block of Rebecca Trail for a domestic between two females. Deputies spoke with both parties.

Nov. 25 - Deputies responded to an address in the 8000 block of Highway 55 for a disturbance. Deputies spoke to an adult male in the apartment and spoke with the children. No problems found.  

Greenfield

Nov. 5 - Deputies responded to an address in the 8000 block of Highway 55 for a medical.  A 43-year-old female was involved.  Family members transported her to Waconia Hospital to be checked.

Nov. 6 - Deputies responded to an address in the 7500 block of Highway 55 for a theft.  A male had put $28.77 of gas into his vehicle, went into the store to purchase some items but failed to pay for the gas. The deputy went to the registered owners home, no one was there. A Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office will investigate.

Nov. 10 - Deputies responded to an address in the 8200 block of Fern Lane for a report of vehicle fire. Loretto Fire arrived at the same time.  The vehicle fire was put out.  The male who had been outside with the vehicle was found to have two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. He had gone into his home and shut the door, he refused to come out or answer the phone. The male was instructed to respond to the warrants.

Nov. 11 - Deputies responded to an address in the 7700 block of Highway 55 for a harassment report. Deputy advised the male to leave and advised the female on how to obtain a restraining order.

Nov. 14 - Deputies responded to an address in the 6600 block of 73rd Lane North for a reports of shots heard.  A female homeowner reported hearing someone shoot a gun several times a day and wanted it investigated.  Deputies located the male who was target shooting, no violation had occurred.  The female was advised.  

Nov. 16 -  Deputies responded to an address in the 6300 block of Belle Street for a domestic. A mother and daughter were having a verbal argument.  Deputy advised both parties and spoke with them.  

Nov. 17 - Deputies responded to the area of 7600 for a report of found property. An employee at the school had found a purse in the high school gym.  The owner of the purse contacted the deputy who was able to return the purse to her.

Nov. 19 - Deputies responded to an address in the 5600 block of 94 Avenue for a report of violation of restraining order.  A Hennepin County Sheriff’s Detective is investigating the incident.

Nov. 21 -  Deputies responded to an address in the 7700 block of Highway 55 for a report of possible credit card fraud.  A Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Detective is investigating the incident.

Nov. 22 - Deputies responded to an address in the 8200 block of Pioneer Trail for a grass fire. Fire departments from Loretto, Hanover and Maple Plaine also responded.  Fire was extinguished.  No injuries or reported damage to structures reported.  

The community of Medicine Lake had no reports provided by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.

There were also 19 citations, 10 assists, one house check and three property damage accidents reported during the Nov. 5-25 time period.
