'Tis the Season for Theft: Maple Grove Police Blotter

The following is a synopsis of several incidents that occurred in Maple Grove between Dec. 6 through Dec. 12. For additional details, visit the city web-based crime map here.

Dec. 6

• Report of camera stolen from store on the 16500 block of 96th Ave.
• Report of shoplifter trying to leave store—when confronted, suspect dropped merchandise and fled in a vehicle on the 13500 block of Grove Circle.
• Report of theft of mail from business on the 9200 block of Wellington Lane.    
  

• Report of athletic pants and cell phone stolen from gym area of community center on the 12900 block of Weaver Lake Rd.
• Report of three pairs of boots/shoes stolen from store—suspect fled in a vehicle– on the 11500 block of Fountains Dr.
• Report of individual trying to leave store with two purses—when confronted, suspect dropped merchandise and fled– on the  12700 block of Elm Creek Blvd. 
• Report of GPS unit stolen from vehicle on the 13600 block of Grove Dr.              
  

• Report of a GPS unit, two pairs of sunglasses and a Coach wristlet stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight on the 7200 block of Kimberly Lane.      
• Report of cell phone stolen from bathroom of restaurant on the 12600 block of Arbor Lakes Pkwy. 
• Reporting party interrupted a burglary in progress in garage—suspect fled in a vehicle– on the 7900 block of Shadyview Lane.            
  

• Report of lock of truck broken into and copper wire stolen on the  9400 block of Wellington Lane.
• Report of a key cutting machine, key blanks and a vacuum cleaner stolen from apartment complex maintenance room on the 6400 block of Sycamore Lane.    
  
• Report of iPad mini and a iPod touch stolen on the 12400 block of Elm Creek Blvd.       
  

• Report of vehicle broken into and purse stolen on the 6300 block of Wedgewood Lane.
• Report of jewelry stolen from residence on the 17500 block of 96th Ave. 
• Report of vehicle being “keyed” in parking lot on the 7500 block of 96th Ave.    

• Report of purse stolen at a restaurant on the 11900 block of Main St.
• Report of suspect pushing loaded cart past all points of sale—when confronted, suspect left cart and fled in a vehicle on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane.       
  
• Report of damage to mailbox on the 6200 block of Yucca Lane.
