Maple Grove Police Investigate Subway Robbery on Halloween

The manager of the Fountains at Arbor Lakes restaurant says someone stole about $200 Halloween evening.

Police continue to investigate a Halloween robbery at a Maple Grove Subway restaurant, according to Maple Grove Police Capt. Keith Terlinden.

The reported robbery occurred about 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at the Subway restaurant at the Fountains at Arbor Lakes. No injuries were reported and no weapons were seen during the robbery, according to Terlinden.

Subway Store Manager Marcus Teske told Maple Grove Patch the store lost about $200 in the robbery which took place with while one employee was working.

Law enforcement from the , Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and a Plymouth K-9 unit responded to the call. No one was taken into custody after the incident was reported, Terlinden said, and the department is not releasing information about potential suspect(s) due to the continuing investigation.

The Subway store remained open until its normal closing time following the incident, Teske said.
