Stolen Sprinkler Valves and Wiper Blades, and Homes Egged: Maple Grove Police Blotter

The following is a synopsis of several incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of April 26 to May2, 2013 as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

Burglary

• 10700 block of 99th Place. Merchandise stolen from a home April 26. 
• 9300 block of Revere Lane. Someone took a bike from a garage April 26. 

Financial Transaction Card Fraud

• 10700 block of Trenton Lane. A person fraudulently used someone's card April 29. 

Damage to Property

• 11700 block of 95th Avenue. Someone pried a lock and hinge off a trailer parked at loading dock April 29. They apparently did not take anything. 

Medical

• 11900 block of 101st Avenue. Person was short of breath. Officers gave the person oxygen until they paramedics took them to a hospital April 27. 
• 6200 block of Quinwood Lane. Person found it difficult to breathe. Officers gave them oxygen until paramedics took them to a hospital April 29. 
• 6400 block of Balsam Lane. A person fainted. Officers gave them oxygen until paramedics arrived May 2. 

Theft

• 63rd Avenue and Balsam Lane. Theft of a cell phone from a park bench April 26. 
• 12700 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Merchandise stolen from store April 26. Person fled in vehicle but was later found and returned the merchandise. 
• 11900 block of 73rd Avenue. Someone shoplifted from a gas station store April 29. 
• 11200 block of 93rd Avenue. Someone left a gas station without paying for gas April 29. 
• 7200 block of East Fish Lake Road. Someone took a bike from the driveway April 30. 
• 17400 block of 92nd Avenue. Two brass valves were stolen from a townhouse sprinkler system April 30. 

Theft From Auto

• 6800 block of Sunnyslope Drive. Property stolen from vehicles April 28.
• 6800 block of Yucca Lane. Property stolen from vehicle April 28. 
• 6700 block of Berkshire Lane. Property stolen from vehicle April 28. 
• 6600 block of Sunnyslope Drive. Someone took a backpack from a vehicle April 29.
• 9800 block of Maple Grove Parkway. Someone stole wiper blades from a vehicle May 2. 

Vandalism

• 9900 96th Avenue. Vandalism report of someone egging a home April 26.
• 16300 block of 82nd Place. Someone egged a house April 27. 

There were 29 property damage crashes and one personal injury traffic crash reported during this time period.
