Ravioli Vandalism, Vehicle Theft: Maple Grove Police Blotter

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of Aug. 3-9, 2012 as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

Aug. 3

  • Theft on the 8100 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of a theft whereas a suspect stole merchandise and fled from the store.
  • Theft on the 12400 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of a theft whereas a cell phone was stolen from a purse.
  • Theft on the 13300 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of a theft whereas a vehicle left the gas station without paying for gas.
  • Medical on the 14500 block of 95th Avenue. Responded to individual having difficulty breathing, officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics.
  • Vandalism on the 8000 block of Kimberly Lane. Report of vandalism whereas a can of Ravioli was dumped on the driveway and a paper towel was stuffed in the tailpipe of a vehicle.

Aug. 4

  • Attempted theft on the 8100 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of a theft whereas an individual pushed a cart of groceries out of store without paying. When confronted, cart was abandoned and the suspect fled on foot.
  • Attempted theft on the 9411 block of Dunkirk Lane. Report of a theft whereas an individual walked out of the store with a cart of merchandise without paying. When confronted, suspect fled in a vehicle.
  • Burglary on the 7600 block of Annapolis Lane. Auto theft report in which a vehicle was stolen out of a garage at the residence.

  • Theft on the 12900 block of Weaver Lake Road. Report of a theft whereas candy was stolen.

Aug. 6

  • Theft from auto on the 10000 block of 100th Avenue. Theft report of tools stolen from bed of pickup truck parked in driveway.
  • Theft on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane. Report of a theft by swindle.
  • Attempted theft on the 18600 block of Gladstone Boulevard. Report of someone attempting to steal a bench from front yard of residence.
  • Damage to property on the 8900 block of Oakview Lane. Report of damage to property whereas a landscaping light was pulled out of ground and smashed in street.
  • Damage to property on the 8600 block of Sycamore Lane. Report of damage to property whereas landscaping lights were pulled from the ground and smashed in street.
  • Medical on the 9700 block of 104th Avenue. Responded to individual having trouble breathing, officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics.

  • Theft on the 7844 Juneau Lane. Report of a bike stolen from the yard of residence.
  • Theft on the 12400 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of individual stealing merchandise from store, suspect fled in a vehicle.
  • Theft from Auto on the 9100 block of Woodlark Way. Report of a bag of miscellaneous items stolen from a vehicle.
  • Theft on the 13300 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of vehicle leaving gas station without paying for gas.
  • Medical on the 8000 block of Everest Lane. Responded to individual having difficulty breathing. Officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics.
  • Damage to property on the 10100 block of Fernbrook Lane. Report of damage to property.

Aug. 8

  • Theft on the 13700 block of Grove Drive. Report of shoplifting theft from store.
  • Theft on the 11900 block of 73rd Avenue. Report of a theft whereas a vehicle left the gas station without paying for gas.
  • Damage to property on the Lakeview Drive and Oakview Lane. Report of a metal trash container hit by a vehicle and damaged.
  • Theft from Auto on the 11800 block of Fountains Way. Theft report of a vehicle entered and electronic equipment stolen.

Aug. 9

  • Medical on the 8500 block of Pineview Lane. Responded to unresponsive person. Officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics.

There were 25 property damage and three personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.
