Pumpkins, Politics and Burglaries: Maple Grove Police Blotter

The following is a synopsis of several incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of Sept. 21-27, 2012 as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

Sept. 21

• Theft - 8100 block of Wedgewood Lane, theft report of merchandise stolen from store.

• Medical - 9900 block of 103rd Avenue, medical call for an individual having trouble breathing. Officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics.

• Burglary - 18900 block of Yarborough Trace, burglary report of property stolen from garage.

• Theft - 7700 block of Main Street, theft report of iPad stolen while reporting party at restaurant.

Sept. 22

• Theft - 12900 block of Weaver Lake Road, theft report of cell phone and wallet stolen from storage area near the basketball courts.

Sept. 23

• Burglary - 17600 block of 69th Place, burglary report of bicycle stolen from garage.

• Theft from auto - 8900 block of Comstock Lane, theft report of license plates stolen from vehicle parked in driveway.

Sept. 24

• Theft- 13900 block of Grove Drive, theft report of two suspects concealing merchandise and leaving store without paying. Suspects fled in a vehicle.

• Theft - 11900 block of 73rd Avenue, theft report of a vehicle leaving gas station without paying for gas.

• Vandalism - 17100 block of 63rd Place, vandalism report of pumpkins smashed on driveway and house toilet papered.

Sept. 25

• Medical - 8800 block of Zachary Lane, medical call for a possible heart attack. Officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics.

• Theft - 17400 block of 75th Avenue, theft report of a political sign stolen from front yard of residence.

• Theft - 9600 block of 85th Avenue, theft report of a table stolen from resident’s shop.

• Identity theft - 9700 block of Yucca Lane, identity theft report of someone attempting to open credit card account with reporting party’s information.

• Theft - 16500 block of Lake Ridge Drive, theft report of a lawn ornament stolen from resident’s yard.

• Theft from auto – Interstate 94 and Weaver Lake Road, theft report of stereo stolen from stalled vehicle.

Sept. 26

• Theft - 16300 block of 96th Avenue, two theft reports of vehicles leaving gas station without paying for gas.

Sept. 27

• Theft from auto -7800 block of Elm Creek Boulevard, theft report of purse stolen from vehicle.

There were 14 property damage and four personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.
