Fugitive Apprehension, High-Speed Chases: West Metro Crime Report

Golden Valley and Minnetonka Police Departments arrested Jeffrey Frank, of Richfield, at Interstate 394 and Highway 100 on Aug. 21.

Police say Francisco Javier Villanueva-Xinaxtl chased his 11-year-old daughter around their apartment, hitting her with a belt, after the two argued over his command of English.

"Come and get me," the Southwest Minneapolis driver allegedly told police after crashing.

Police say Gardner Wayne Campbell stole change from a Tupperware container in the center console of one car.

Police say they found cocaine and a loaded shotgun in Michael Stuart Minter's bedroom when they executed a search warrant.

Two unidentified females also managed to steal $200 in merchandise from the Edina Old Navy store.

Police say the man fled during a traffic stop when they smelled marijuana in his SUV and found he had a suspended license.

Authorities say Terrell Steven Cunningham met the informant in Minneapolis and sold a quantity of what he said was cocaine to the informant for $100. The substance tested negative for the presence of cocaine.

Simon Donnell Brown, charged with first-degree burglary, allegedly told police that he entered the garage to find items to steal and sell for scrap.

Police said Isaiah Anthony Banks fled when an officer spotted him speeding, then abandoned his car and fled on foot.

A man who went to KARE 11 earlier this summer with a supposed plot against he and his wife has now been accused with staging the entire thing, and faces criminal charges.
