Maple Grove police handle cases of theft from businesses and cars.

December 3

Theft on the 12700 block of 82nd Place. Report of car charger stolen from a vehicle.

Damage to property on 13000 block of 88th Place. Report of vehicle windows broken, but nothing stolen.

December 5

Theft on 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane, Kohl’s. According to police report, suspect arrested on report of stolen cologne.

December 6

Theft on the 17300 block of Weaver Lake Drive. Report of GPS unit and a wallet stolen from vehicle parked in driveway overnight.

Theft on 11400 block of Fountains Drive. Report of cell phone stolen.

December 7

Theft on the 11300 block of Fountains Lane. Report of purse left in store, purse was recovered but wallet was missing. 

Theft from 12400 block of Elm Creek Boulevard, Hollister. Report of two individuals shoplifting, suspects left in a car.

Theft from 11700 block of Fountains Way, Dave and Buster’s. Report of wallet forgotten on table in restaurant, when the owner went back to get it the wallet was gone.

December 9

Theft from 12600 block of 82nd Avenue, Lifetime Fitness. Report of wallet stolen from locked locker.

There were 35 property damage traffic accidents and two medical calls during this time period.

In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation, and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
