Update: One Woman Dead in Multiple Car Accident in Maple Grove Wednesday
The accident happened at the intersection of County Road 101 and Bass Lake Road (County Road 10) in Maple Grove.

One person has died as a result of a multiple car accident at the intersection of County Road 101 and Bass Lake Road (County Road 10) Wednesday night in Maple Grove.
The Maple Grove Police Department was called to the scene around 5:30 p.m. Oct. 31 on the report of a multi-vehicle accident involving three vehicles. Officers arrived and “found the driver of one of the vehicles deceased,” according to Maple Grove Police Captain Keith Terlinden. No other injuries were reported.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Tyan Necole Taylor, 32, of Brooklyn Park in a press release citing cause of death as "blunt force head and neck injury."
The accident involved a minivan, Ford Escape and pickup truck pulling an empty horse trailer, according to a KARE11 report, which stated the “jaws of life” needed to be used by emergency crews on one of the vehicles.

Maple Grove Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
