Murder Suspect Surrenders, Pounds of Pot and Indecent Exposure: West Metro Crime Report

Carl Darrell Looyen was charged with felony drug distribution after sheriff's deputies found large quantities of marijuana and cash along with scales and packaging items in his home.

The scheme affected victims across the United States and included properties in Savage and Prior Lake.

Darnell Xavier Vaughn was wanted in one Missouri murder and a suspect in another.

No charges have been filed in connection with the December incident.

Police say Shane Thomas Crocker of Mendota Heights and Austin Christian Grove of St. Louis Park assaulted and stabbed a man after he told them to stay away from his grandson.

Police found Sean Joseph Kacer, 25, disoriented and bleeding, kicking a glass patio door in an apparent attempt to break into a home near Nicollet Junior High.

While at a U.S. Bank window, a McDonald's employee was held up, but able to drive away.

The dog had been resuscitated at the scene, however, it succumbed to its injuries Monday.

Police also responded to a report of a burglary.

The 82-year-old Delbert Huber was given a maximum sentence by a Kandiyohi County Court judge Tuesday morning.

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

Minnetonka Police say Thomas Patrick Dousette bit his neighbor's neck, strangled her and threatened to kill her.
