Egg Pranks and Theft: Maple Grove Police Blotter

Dec. 13

• Report of jewelry stolen from home on the 6700 block of Berskire Lane.
• Report of window broken into and bag containing work papers stolen from car on the 12600 block of 82nd Ave.       

• Report of shoplifter on the 12100 block of Elm Creek Blvd.
• Report of three sets of violin strings stolen from store—suspect left in a vehicle on the 11500 block of Fountains Drive.       
• Report of mailbox knocked off post and another damaged on the 10100 block of Yorktown Lane.       
  

• Report of mailbox damaged and outside house lights broken off on the  16500 block of Lake Ridge Drive.
• Report of windows and driver’s side mirror broken while vehicle was parked in driveway on the  8400 block of Urbandale Lane.
• Report of a socket extension tool stuck into overhead garage door on the  8300 block of Urbandale Lane.
• Report of window broken out of vehicle parked in driveway on the 16500 block of Lake Ridge Drive.   
• Report of windows broken out of truck parked in driveway overnight on the 8500 block of Vagabond Lane.          

• Report of purse stolen from shopping cart on the 11400 block of Fountains Drive.      

• Report of vehicle broken into and several shopping bags stolen on the 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane.    
• Report of display phone stolen from store on the  9400 block of Dunkirk Lane. 
• Report of security camera stolen from store—when confronted, suspect dropped camera and fled on the  16500 block of 96th Ave.   
• Report of wallet stolen from unlocked vehicle on the 12000 block of Elm Creek Blvd.                  
• Report of shoplifting from store on the 12200 block of Elm Creek Blvd.

• Report of three individuals stealing merchandise from business – three suspects arrested– on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane. 
• Report of a residence hit by paintballs on the 18000 block of 70th Place.   

• Report of an individual stealing merchandise from a business – suspect arrested on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane.   
• Report of a residence hit with eggs and mayonnaise smeared on driveway on the  16400 block of Urbandale Lane.Report of a house hit with eggs on the  400 block of West Eagle Lake Rd        
• Report of a purse stolen from a business on the 9500 block of Blackoaks Lane.     
• Report of merchandise stolen from a business on the 11500 block of Fountains Drive.     

• Report of an individual stealing merchandise from a business – suspect arrested on the  8100 block of Wedgewood Lane.
• Report of a cell phone stolen in a business on the 7900 block of Wedgewood Lane.      
• Report of an individual stealing from a business – suspect arrested on the  9400 block of Dunkirk Lane.    

• Report of a license plate stolen off of a vehicle on the  9800 block of Hospital Drive.
• Report of an individual stealing merchandise from a business – suspect arrested on the 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane.      

• Report of 2 individuals stealing merchandise from a business – suspects arrested. on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane.

There were 49 property damage accidents reported during this time period.

Dec. 27

• Report of shoplifting—suspect left in a vehicle on the 16500 block of 96th Ave.
• Report of shoplifting—suspect left in a vehicle on the 12800 block of Elm Creek Blvd.
• Report of wallet stolen from purse at a restaurant on the 12800 block of Elm Creek Blvd.
• Report of tire of vehicle slashed while parked in driveway on the 8100 block of Kimberly Lane.

Dec. 28

• Report of two bottles of alcohol stolen from store—suspects left in a vehicle on the 9600 block of 63rd Ave.
• Report of a shoplifter in store—suspect was apprehended on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane.
• Report of vehicle stolen from business—vehicle was subsequently recovered at a scrap facility on the 10650 Co Rd 81.

Dec. 29

• Report of egg thrown at vehicle while traveling in the area at 101st Ave & Zachary Lane.
• Report of individuals leaving sandwich shop without paying for food—suspects fled in a vehicle on the 9600 block of 63rd Ave.

Dec. 30

• During a Craigslist transaction, suspect displayed a gun and took money and merchandise on the 12500 block of Elm Creek Blvd.

There were 35 property damage and two personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.
