Maple Grove Police Blotter: Thief Steals $800 Worth of Gift Cards from Restaurant

Here are some other incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of Sept. 23 through Sept. 29.

Sept. 23

• Burglary on the 9100 block of Goldenrod Lane. Report of GPS unit stolen from vehicle parked in garage.

• Theft on the 7800 block of Main Street. Report of purse taken from employee locker.

Sept. 24

• Theft on the 12900 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of an iPad stolen from Best Buy.

• Theft from auto on the 12900 block of Arbor Lakes Parkway. Report of GPS unit and nail gun stolen from vehicle.

Sept. 25

• Theft from auto on the 8000 block of Chesshire Lane. Report of vehicle broken into and laptop computer stolen.

• Damage to property on the 7500 block of Meridian Circle. Report of three windows of FedEx building broken by rocks but no entry made into the building.

• Theft from auto on the 8000 block of Chesshire Lane. Report of vehicle broken into and bag containing dance shoes and dance clothes stolen.

• Damage to property on the 16100 block of 90th Court. Report of a hole drilled next to the deadbolt lock cylinder of residence, lock hammered on and an attempt made to pry the door—entry was not made.

• Theft on the 13800 block of Grove Drive. Report of two packs of cigarettes stolen from store.

• Theft from auto on the 9100 block of Hemlock Lane. Report of vehicle broken into and items stolen from inside.

• Damage to property on the 6900 block of Ximines Lane. Report of window broken out of vehicle parked in driveway.

Sept. 26

• Theft on the 14400 block of Weaver Lake Road. Report of $800 worth of gift cards purchased with stolen credit card.

• Theft on the 9800 block of Revere Lane. Report of football helmet stolen from beside baseball field at school.

• Theft on the 12900 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of an iPad 2 stolen from Best Buy.

• Burglary on the 9800 block of Deerwood Lane. Report of power tools stolen from unlocked garage.

Sept. 27

• Theft on the 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of shoplifting from Kohl’s.

• Burglary/theft from auto on the 12400 block of 74th Avenue. Report of miter saw stolen from garage and GPS unit stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway.

Sept. 28

• Theft on the 8100 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of shoplifting from Cub Foods.

• Theft on the 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane. Report of shoplifting from Kohl’s.

Sept. 29

• Vandalism on the 7700 block of Main Street. Report of graffiti spray painted on electrical box.

• Burglary on the 18100 block of 70th Avenue. Report of computer stolen from residence.

There were four medical calls, 11 property damage and three personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.
