Maple Grove Police Blotter: Theft Reported at Oak View Elementary

Several thefts were among the incidents appearing on the recent Maple Grove police incident report.

The following is a synopsis of incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of March 16 through March 21 as provided by the .

March 16

  • Credit card fraud on the 9500 block of Rosewood Lane. Report of credit card number used fraudulently at Maple Grove business.
  • Theft on the 13300 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.

March 17

  • Damage to property on the 12900 block of Weaver Lake Road. Report of graffiti written on wall of with black permanent marker.
  • Theft from auto on the 12500 block of 69th Avenue. Report of license plates stolen off vehicle.
  • Theft on the 12900 block of 63rd Avenue. Report of clothes stolen from washing machine in laundry room.
  • Theft on the 12800 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of two suspects arrested for shoplifting at Party City.
  • Theft on the 13100 block of Weaver Lake Road. Report of eyeglass frames stolen from , suspect fled in a vehicle.

March 18

  • Damage to property at the intersection of County Road 30/Queensland. Report of stop sign at intersection pushed over by two individuals.

March 19

  • Theft on the 12400 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Officers responded to shoplifting in progress at the , suspect dropped most items and fled the scene in a vehicle with one pair of jeans.
  • Theft on the 6700 block of East Fish Lake Road. Report of a gym bag containing a cell phone, a volleyball and volleyball pump stolen at school.
  • Burglary on the 8800 block of Monticello Lane. Report of copper wiring and tubing stolen from vacant business.
  • Theft on the 12400 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of juvenile employee arrested for theft from .
  • Theft on the 13300 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.

March 21

  • Theft on the 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane, report of one juvenile suspect arrested for shoplifting at .
  • Theft on the 12000 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of camera stolen from display at .
  • Theft on the 16300 block of 96th Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving scene without paying for gas.
  • Theft from auto on the 9400 block of Trenton Lane. Report of GPS unit, radar detector and drills stolen from two unlocked vehicles parked in driveway overnight.
  • Identify theft on the 12600 block of 74th Avenue. Report of someone using reporting party’s identity to file income taxes.

There were six property damage traffic accidents and three medical incidents reported during this time period.

In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation, and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Incidents generally appear in the order in which they were reported, not necessarily the order in which they occurred.
