Maple Grove Police Blotter: Theft of Scrap Metal Costs Maple Grove Business

The metal may have been considered scrap, but for A & K Equipment of Maple Grove the theft of the product on Tuesday, May 31 was valued at approximately $1,000. According to the Maple Grove Police Department, no arrests have been made in the incident.

  • Burglary on the 12500 block of 92nd Place. Report of game system stolen from residence.
  • Theft on the 11900 block of 90th Avenue. Report of gas siphoned out of vehicle parked in driveway overnight.
  • Theft on the 18400 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of Jet Ski stolen from storage lot.

  • Damage to property on the 12500 block of 95th Place. Report of a smoke bomb set off between front door and storm door of residence, damaging door and wood floor.
  • Theft on the 8600 block of Monticello Lane. Report of approximately $1,000 of scrap metal stolen A & K Equipment yard.

 June 1

  • Burglary on the 11700 block of Red Fox Drive. Report of lawn mower stolen out of garage.

 

There were also 13 medical incidents and 21 property damage traffic accidents reported May 27 through June 2, 2011.
