Maple Grove Police Blotter: Robbery, Thefts Reported

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of Nov. 4 through Nov. 9, 2011 as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

Nov. 4

  • Robbery on the 12900 block of Weaver Lake Drive. for robbery and damage to property at .

  • Damage to property on the 12600 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of graffiti on door of Russian-Jewish Community Center.
  • Damage to property on the 9400 block of Valley Forge Lane. Report of rock thrown through window of vehicle, and vehicle also egged.
  • Theft on the 16300 block of 96th Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.

Nov. 6

  • Theft from auto on the 8600 block of Valley Forge Lane. Report of vehicle broken into and purse stolen.
  • Burglary on the 10400 block of 106th Place. Report of service door of garage pried open overnight and GPS unit, garage door opener, phone charger, electric chainsaw and bicycle stolen.
  • Theft on the 17500 block of 66th Avenue. Report of utility trailer parked next to residence stolen.

  • Damage to property on the 6200 block of Chesshire Lane. Report of someone trying to punch the lock on rear door of vehicle, damaging the handle.
  • Theft from auto on the 6200 block of Chesshire Lane. Report of backpack, garage door opener and GPS unit stolen from vehicle.

Nov. 8

  • Theft on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane. Report of ex-employee reportedly ringing up fraudulent transactions at Wal-Mart. Police say suspect has since moved out of state.
  • Theft from auto on the 16700 block of 91st Avenue. Report of purse stolen from unlocked, running vehicle in the parking lot.

There were 16 property damage, four personal injury traffic accidents and one medical incident reported during this time period.
