Maple Grove Police Blotter: Gas and Go Thefts

Reports of gas thefts and vehicles broken into at a Maple Grove apartment complex were just some of the crime incidents reported during the week of Aug. 5 through Aug. 11 in Maple Grove.

August 5

  • Theft on the 13300 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.

August 7

  • Theft from auto on the 9200 block of Queensland Lane. Report of truck broken into overnight and golf clubs stolen.

August 8

  • Theft on the 9600 block of 63rd Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
  • Theft on the 10500 block of County Road 81. Report of two of a customer’s tie-down straps stolen from the back of the business.
  • Theft from auto on the 16600 block of 92nd Avenue. Report of five vehicles broken into and items stolen from underground garage of the Birchwood Apartment complex overnight.
  • Damage to property on the 10500 block of County Road 81. Report of graffiti painted on loading dock and overhead garage door of business.

August 9

  • Theft on the 11200 block of 93rd Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.

August 10

  • Damage to property on the 6700 block of Vicksburg Lane. Report of window broken out of vehicle in parking lot.
  • Vandalism on the 16800 block of 90th Court. Report of house being egged.

There were 21 property damage reports, eight medical incidents and three personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.
