Gun Reported Stolen From Vehicle in McDonald’s Parking Lot: Police Blotter

Maple Grove police responded to several incidents last week, including a report of collection boxes in a church pried open and money stolen from inside.

A gun was reported stolen June 20 from a vehicle parked at McDonald’s on the 6200 block of Sycamore Lane. This, and the following synopsis, are some of the incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of June 15-21, 2012 as provided by the .

June 15

  • Medical on the 10400 block of Brockton Lane. Responded to individual in seizure, officers administered oxygen until paramedics arrived on scene.
  • Theft on the 13300 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
  • Theft on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane. Report of laptops stolen from Walmart.
  • Theft on the 9000 block of Forestview Lane. Report of new cork flooring and glue stolen from Public Works building.
  • Theft from auto on the 8300 block of Archer Lane. Report of briefcase stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.
  • Theft from auto on the 7000 block of Jonquil Lane. Report of phone charger stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.
  • Theft on the 9200 block of Queensland Lane. Report of theft of purse from residence.
  • Theft from auto on the 6500 block of Forestview Lane. Report of laptop stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.
  • Theft from auto on the 7600 block of Jewel Lane. Report of two GPS units stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.
  • Theft from auto on the 7100 block of Carey Lane. Report of sunglasses and a sweatshirt stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.

June 16

  • Theft from auto on the 9200 block of Goldenrod Lane. Report of license plates stolen from vehicle.
  • Theft from auto on the 18300 block of 86th Place. Report of GPS unit stolen from vehicle.

June 17

  • Theft on the 12400 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Report of shopping bag containing $300-$400 worth of purchases stolen after being set down on the floor in Justice.
  • Theft from auto on the 16300 block of 84th Avenue. Report of laptop with charging cord, mouse and Ethernet cable, and a pair of sunglasses stolen from vehicle parked in driveway.
  • Theft from auto on the 18900 block of 95th Avenue. Report of CD case containing approximately 30 CDs stolen from vehicle.
  • Theft from auto on the 10400 block of 99th Place. Report of laptop and leather gloves stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.

June 18

  • Theft from auto on the 10500 block of Maple Valley Drive. Report of GPS unit and camera stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway.
  • Theft, financial transaction card fraud on the 11500 block of Fountains Lane. Report of purse stolen from Select Inn and credit card used at Guitar Center.
  • Theft on the 7100 block of Hemlock Lane. Report of collection boxes in church pried open and money stolen from inside.
  • Damage to property on the 7500 block of Wedgewood Way. Report of rock thrown through window of residence.
  • Theft from auto on the 8000 block of Jefferson Drive. Report of license plates stolen from vehicle at the Auto Auction.
  • Theft on the 13300 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
  • Theft from auto on the 18900 block of 96th Place. Report of GPS unit and power cord stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.

June 19

  • Theft from auto on 85th Ave/Jefferson Highway. Report of a $1,200 Stihl chop saw stolen from supervisor’s vehicle.
  • Theft from auto on the 18100 block of 96th Place. Report of numerous tools stolen from work truck with unlocked topper.
  • Theft on the 11200 block of 93rd Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
  • Burglary on the 12600 block of 95th Avenue. Report of a backpack containing a laptop and a purse stolen from mud room just inside the door to the residence.

June 20

  • Theft on the 16300 block of 96th Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
  • Theft on the 13800 block of Grove Drive. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
  • Theft from auto on the 6200 block of Sycamore Lane. Report of gun stolen from vehicle while parked at McDonald’s.

June 21

  • Theft from auto on the 13700 block of Timber Crest Drive. Report of wallet and fishing tackle stolen from unlocked truck parked in driveway overnight.
  • Theft from auto on the 9000 block of Rosewood Lane. Report of Billie club and travel tool kit stolen from vehicle parked in driveway, no sign of forced entry.
  • Theft from auto on the 13000 block of 83rd Avenue. Report of prescription sunglasses and Handytool knife stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway.
  • Theft from auto on the 8900 block of Rosewood Lane. Report of loose change stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.
  • Medical on the 13000 block of 82nd Avenue. Responded to individual feeling dizzy, officers administered oxygen until paramedics arrived on scene.

There were 15 property damage and five personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.
