Graffiti at Playground, Prowlers and Thefts: Maple Grove Police Blotter

The following is a synopsis of several incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of April 5-11, 2013 as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

Damage to Property

• 15400 block of Bass Lake Road. Report of graffiti on playground equipment April 5.
• 16300 block of 72nd Place. Report of knocked over mailbox pole April 5.
• 7600 block of Mariner Point. Report of fire extinguisher set off inside vehicle while residents on vacation April 6.
• 9100 block of Cottonwood Lane. Report of damage to trailer door April 8.

Theft

• 13300 block of Bass Lake Road. Theft report of vehicle leaving gas station without paying for gas April 6.
• 12900 block of Weaver Lake Road. Theft report of property stolen from teen center and subsequently found under a rock outside the parking garage April 6.
• 12900 block of Weaver Lake Road. Theft report of property wrapped in a towel stolen April 7.
• 12900 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Theft report of merchandise stolen from store April 7.
• 11200 block of 93rd Avenue. Theft report of vehicle leaving gas station without paying for gas April 7.
• 18000 block of Weaver Lake Drive. Theft report of gas stolen from vehicle overnight April 8.
• 11200 block of 93rd Avenue. Theft report of vehicle leaving gas station without paying for gas April 9.
• 16300 block of 96th Avenue. Theft report of vehicle leaving gas station without paying for gas April 9.
• 12900 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Theft report of merchandise stolen from store April 10.

Theft from Auto

• 7000 block of Magda Drive. Theft report of vehicle broken into overnight and tools stolen April 6.
• 16400 block of County Road 30. Theft report of front plate stolen off vehicle April 9.
• 10200 block of Pilgrim Lane. Theft report of property stolen from vehicle April 9.
• 7000 block of Magda Drive. Theft report of electronics stolen from vehicle.

Medical

• 12600 block of 82nd Avenue. Medical call for a light headed individual who fell down, officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics April 6.
• 13400 block of Timber Crest Drive. Medical call for an individual having difficulty breathing, officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics April 9.

Prowlers

• 13300 block of 75th Place. Report of juveniles entering vehicles in the area April 9.

There were 18 property damage traffic accidents reported during this time period.
