Flames at an Asphalt Plant and a Vehicle Fire: Maple Grove Fire Reports

A selection of incidents firefighters responded to over the past week.

The Maple Grove Fire Department extinguished a handful of fires last week. Below is a selection drawn from Fire Department records:

  • 10:45 a.m. Oct. 17: Firefighters went to 242 West Eagle Lake Drive to put out a small fire that had been smoldering in insulation from an earlier fire.
  • 11:25 a.m. Oct. 18: A vehicle caught fire on 7778 Main Street North. The engine compartment was fully involved.
  • 12:15 p.m. Oct. 18: There was a fire in an asphalt plant core lab trailer. Firefighters were able to extinguish it.
