The following is a synopsis of several incidents that occurred in Maple Grove between Aug. 16 and Aug. 22, 2013 as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

Theft

Aug. 16

  • A laptop was stolen from a home on the 9300 block of Ranchview Lane.
  • A vehicle was stolen from the 8000 block of Jefferson Highway.
  • There was a shoplifting from a store on the 11400 block of Fountains Drive.

  • A driver left without paying for gas at a station on the 13300 block of Bass Lake Road.

Aug. 18

  • Someone stole a wallet that was left in the bathroom of a store on the 6300 block of Wedgewood Road.
  • Merchandise was stolen from a store on the 12700 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. The suspect left in a vehicle.

Aug. 19

  • A gift card was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 7500 block of Meridian Circle.
  • Property was stolen from the side of a home on the 6100 block of Eagle Lake Drive.

Aug. 20

  • A cell phone was stolen from a purse in the pool area on the 12900 block of Elm Creek Boulevard.
  • Someone stole a purse from an unlocked employee locker on the 7700 block of Main Street.

Aug. 21

  • A cell phone was stolen after it was dropped in the parking lot on the 11900 block of Main Street.
  • Mail was stolen from a mailbox on the 9200 block of Upland Lane.
  • Someone stole electronics from a home on the 14700 block of 81st Avenue.

Burglary

Aug. 18

  • Two bikes were stolen from a home on the 6600 block of Meadowlark Lane.

Property Damage

Aug. 18

  • Someone damaged a vehicle dashboard and radio on the 12600 block of Elm Creek Boulevard.

Aug. 19

  • Someone spray painted a utility box near the intersection of Weaver Lake Road and Zanzibar Lane.

Aug. 21

  • A rear bake lens was shot on the 8600 block of Zinnia Way, possibly with a pellet gun.
  • Someone cut phone lines at a business where there was a nearby burglary.

Counterfeit Bill

Aug. 19

  • A customer used a counterfeit bill at the 16400 block of County Road 30.
