A selection of incidents reported between Sept. 27 through Oct. 3.

The following is a synopsis of several incidents that occurred in Maple Grove between Sept. 27 and Oct. 3 as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

Theft

Sept. 27

  • Someone stole a wood chipper from a lawn care service on the 11700 block of 95th Avenue.

Sept. 28

  • Vehicle tabs were stolen from the mail on 6900 block of Orchid Lane.

Sept. 29

  • A vehicle left a gas station at 11960 73rd Avenue without paying for gas.
  • Someone stole a GPS from a vehicle parked on the 8500 block of Pineview Lane.
  • An iPod and other items were stolen from vehicles on the 12800 block of 86th Place.
  • A wallet was stolen from a vehicle on the 12700 block of 88th Avenue. The wallet was recovered, but cash and a credit card were missing.
  • Someone stole all four wheels off a vehicle parked in a lot on the 6300 block of Vinewood Lane.
  • Thieves cut a lock off a trailer and stole the trailer while it was parked on the 10600 block of County Road 81.
  • A hunting vest was stolen from a vehicle on the 8900 block of Rosewood Lane.

Oct. 1

  • Someone stole a miter box and adjustable roller stands from the tool room of a home  on the 12100 block of 62nd Avenue.

 

Burglary

Sept. 27

  • Someone broke into a home on the 9000 block of Rosewood Lane and stole cash.

Sept. 30

  • Thieves stole items from a home under construction on the 18000 block of 72nd Place.

Oct. 1

  • Someone stole a chainsaw from a garage on the 6600 block of Chesshire Lane North.

 

Damage to Property

Sept. 27

  • A pool cover was damaged on the 12100 block of Robin Road.
  • People were caught spray painting the front of the school on the 9800 block of Fernbrook Lane.

Sept. 30

  • Someone shot a home with paintballs about 15 times on the 15200 block of 69th Place.

There were 22 property damage and one personal injury traffic accident reported during this time period.
