Accident Assistance, Strange Odor: Maple Grove Fire Blotter

The Maple Grove Fire Department also responded to several false and malfunctioning alarms during, according to the Dec. 3-9, 2012 blotter.

The following are incidents were responded to by the Maple Grove Fire Department from Dec. 3-9, 2012. Details provided by the fire department. 

  • 13700 block of Grove Drive. Odor, smell of gas Dec. 6. 
  • 12700 block of 95th Avenue North. Strange odor/smell. Called to investigate odor of natural gas Dec. 7 in main entrance of the store.  Found nothing, checked roof top units also finding nothing.
  • County Road 30 and Troy Lane North. Motor vehicle accident with no injuries Dec. 7. Three vehicles involved - checked all passengers, everyone ok. Called for tow, Maple Grove Police Department not on scene, very slick roads. Maple Grove Police Department arrived and helped with scene safety. 

There were also six reports of false or malfunctioning alarms.
