Osseo Regional Athletic Director Dies at 75

Richard Gladen attended his last Osseo Football game September 20.

Richard Gladen, 75, of Dayton, lost his battle with Lymphoma and Bone Marrow Disease on October 2, 2013 at his home with family by his side.

Although he retired as the Regional Athletic Director in 2003 after 31 years of service to District 279, his love for Osseo sports continued having attended his last Osseo Football game on September 20.

Richard is survived by children, Tory and Mark, and their loving mother, Ione; children Billeye and Darin, and their loving mother, Jan; children, Edward and Tony, and their loving mother and Richard’s loving wife, Bobbi; sister, Elizabeth (Darrel); and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral Service 12 noon Friday, October 11, in the Osseo High School Main Gymnasium. A reviewal will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, October 10, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo. Reviewal also 1 hour prior to service at the school.
